I already had two of these Micro-mates but ordered three more - two gifts and another back-up for me. This is the only way I load digital photos into my computers. They are simple to use and work consistently well.
I had been looking for a reader that works well with the SDHC and this one does. Great product.
I needed a new reader as my older Sandisk 8-in-1 didn't support SDHC. And I wanted it to be small/compact.This MicroMate Reader fits the bill. When I bought the 8-in-1, I was using CF and Memory Sticks. But as more and more of my equipment started using SD and later SDHC, I decided my next card reader would be SD-only. It's small enough to carry in the compact camera bag and I keep another MicroMate at home. I'd buy this again.
I love, love, love this reader. I take alot of pictures. Vacations and everything and anything in between.This gives me the opportunity to show the pictures to anyone with a computer. Like having a slide show wherever you are.
i ordered this product and rechargeable batteries and charger. I later purchased a Rayovac Battery charger w/ batteries from Walmart ($6.00).works great. Both are junk. The "Reader" failed after the first use, and the batteries never hold an adequate charge. As for the Reader, I simply download from the camera to desktop. Save your money.
